What happens when little hearts are given the freedom to explore, express and shine?

They surprise us with their confidence. They celebrate the world in their own delightful way. And they remind us that some of the most meaningful learning happens when children are simply given the opportunity to be themselves.

That was the spirit of Kindergarten Fest 2026–27 at Gulmohur High School, themed “Little Hearts, One World.”

From Nursery to LKG and UKG, our youngest learners transformed the stage into a world of colour, imagination, music and movement.

“United in Joy” began the journey with the happiness of togetherness.

Then came “Weaving the World, Walking the Ramp.” Our tiny Nursery stars walked the ramp representing different cultures with a confidence that delighted the audience. Their expressions, poise and sheer joy made it one of the most memorable moments of the evening.

Through “Healthy Body and Pure Thoughts,” our LKG children shared an important lesson about healthy habits and positive thinking.

“Learning with Joy Everyday” reflected a simple belief—that children learn deeply when curiosity and happiness become part of the learning process.

“Best Day of My Life” celebrated childhood and friendship, while “Rhythms Around the World – Jungle Dance & Hula Hula” brought cultures together through rhythm and movement.

In “The Magic of Seven Learning Corners – A Journey Across the Classroom,” our UKG children showed how a classroom can become a world of discovery—where children question, create, collaborate and learn by doing. The mesmerising fashion show based on the Learning Corners aligned to NEP was executed so well with poise, confidence and elegance by the young learners.

And when our little performers came together for “Together We Shine,” the message could not have been more fitting:

Every child has a light of their own. Our responsibility is to give them the confidence and opportunities to let it shine.

We were honoured to have Ms. Ashu Tiwary, senior educationist and Principal of St. John’s High School, as the Chief Guest. She was particularly struck by the confidence and stage presence of children at such a young age, especially the remarkable poise displayed during the ramp walk.

Sharing her appreciation, Ms. Tiwary commended the tremendous effort of the teachers and the support of parents behind every child’s performance. She observed that the confidence visible on stage was a reflection of the nurturing environment created collectively by the school and families.

She also appreciated the visionary and dynamic leadership of Principal Mrs. Priti Sinha, highlighting the school’s progressive journey, its accomplishments and the recognition it has received over the years. She particularly acknowledged the emphasis on digital leadership and innovation, and appreciated how the school continues to evolve while keeping children and meaningful learning at the centre of its educational vision.

Behind every confident little performer was a team that patiently planned, practised, encouraged and believed in them. Heartfelt appreciation to our Process Owners — Ms. Vinita Krishnan, Ms. P. Harshika, Ms. Natasha Dey and Ms. Monica Raj — and to the entire team of teachers and staff whose dedication made every detail count.

Kindergarten Fest was never just about performances.

It was about a Nursery child discovering the courage to walk onto a stage.

A little learner remembering the next step and smiling through it.

A teacher quietly encouraging from behind the curtain.

A parent watching with pride from the audience.

And hundreds of little moments coming together to tell one beautiful story—
