Gulmohur Chronicles – Edition 19

My dear children,
Here we are in the amazing month of November. November is the eleventh and penultimate month of the year in the Julian and Gregorian Calendars. It is a month of late spring in the Southern Hemisphere and late autumn in the Northern Hemisphere. The frenzy of fall has subsided and it’s time to begin preparation for the winter months, whether that means pulling out your winter coat, adding another blanket to your bed.

Children’s Day is celebrated across India to raise awareness about the rights, education, and welfare of children. It is celebrated on 14 November every year on the birthday of the First Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who was known to have been fond of children.

The Children of today will be adults of tomorrow. Today’s leaders and activists. Their quality and personality will determine the kind of destiny that beacons the nation. Therefore, for every developing nation a strong, healthy and intellectual youth is required. Just as the famous saying goes – “The Wealth of a nation is not so much in its of economical and natural resources but it lies more decidedly in the kind and quality of the wealth of its children and youth”. It is the responsibility of the adults to direct the youth in desired direction. The youth of a nation is its power-house. They have boundless stores of energy, will, capability, zeal, and enthusiasm and have the power to mould the destiny of the nation.

Thus, we thank our alma mater to provide us with such great opportunities that help us to nourish and grow in different aspects of life encouraging us to be better humans. The spectacular success of Career Expo 2022 has led us to the path of the new world. We got to know that the future is now not constricted but it’s much vaster than we can even imagine.

This edition is a very special as there are many laurels to share and also it is the 2nd year anniversary of Gulmohur Chronicles. So, with the new zeal let’s walk together on the beginning of another glorious journey.

We at Gulmohur are always ought to see you all emerge better in each and every aspect of life.

I wish all of you good health, prosperity and a lot of happiness.

Au revoir!
Yours lovingly,
Gulmohur High School
